So this is a retelling but ore what happens after Wendy leaves Neverland. Really years later when Peter Pan returns for Wendy’s great-granddaughter. Kinda always knew that Peter Pan was a villain.
There is a trend on #booktok right now asking who are the authors you will always buy their books no matter what they are about. Holly Black is one of those Authors for me. She knows how to tell a story. Especially if it includes Fairies. This is her first Adult book and the synopsis reminds me of my favorite series of hers, The Curse Worker Trilogy. So I’m stoked for this one.
I do love a good fairy tale retelling and then you add it a Faustian twist. Count me in!
This has some real gothic vibes to it and I love it.

This was recommended by a coworker and I dig it. This is some real level Gone Girl vibes but I’m not really sure who is the Amy Dunne in the story.

I’m so excited for this book. Eric is a friend of both Kate and I. We all worked together at B&N back in the day and we are so proud of him. Sort of Super follows Wyatt, a middle school kid who has super powers but he doesn’t always know what to do with them. He’s sister is super smart and the two of them together is trouble. lol
Back to the World of From Blood and Ash. This is the 1st book in the prequel series Poppy’s grandparents. The Primal of Death and his consort. So far, it’s kinda of a retread of the first book but I’ll give it a chance.
