I’m not sure where this fits on my Asian Lit Bingo sheet, but I’m determined to finish this challenge!

So I’m reading Inferno on my iPad but I forgot to charge it last night and I needed a book to read on my commute. So I guess I’m reading two books now.

The final battle is coming between Talon and Ember, Riley and Garrett. Will our heroes prevail or will dragons take over the world? Let’s find out.

I’m slow-going on picking books for Bingo, but I’m going to get there. I’m pretty excited to get into this one about a Chinese-American immigrant!

My first book up for the Asian Lit Bingo challenge is French Concession by Xiao Bai. This is a noir thriller set in 1931. Picking the books for the challenge, I wanted to start with my tbr stack. I have loads of books that I’ve bought because they looked good. It was about time I found an excuse to pick one or two of them up. I’ve had this on my eReader for a few years (it is a little embarrassing to admit that) so I’m excited to have a reason to start reading it!

As problematic the first one was, I did enjoy it and I’m curious about how it ends.

Lucky to have received this as an ARC. Looking forward in the next chapter of the Mortiz family.

We’ve been reading about this book for months now. So excited to finally get a chance to read it.

This is one gorgeous cover. I can’t wait to read what’s inside.
