Another book that has been sitting in my shelf for years. I’ve got to say. I’m pretty proud of how many books in my ro-read list I’m marking off this year. So far three of them.

What I’m Reading Now: Blood Red Snow White by Marcus Sedgwick
I’m pretty sure when I bought this book a couple years ago at a Con, I thought it was a Russian retelling of Snow White. This is not that. Instead it’s the story of real life British children’s Arthur Ransome and his time being a reporter in Russia during the Bolshevik revolution. Very interesting but lacking in dwarfs.
What I’m Reading Now: The Box in the Woods by Maureen Johnson
I do wish that Maureen would finish her Shades of London Series but it’s nice to revisit Stevie and the gang.

In 1890 Atlanta, Jo secretly writes an advice column that sets her on the path to find more about herself and others. I’m so digging this one.

She wanted to live her own life and not belonging to anyone. She got her wish but the trade off is that no one remembers her. It’s like she never existed at all. Call me intrigued.

It’s the end of the semester, so listening to something I’ve already heard before is really the only way to go.
