This is the second knitting book club pick. A few folks have already finished it, so I’ve heard a little bit about it. Im very excited to start it. I am still working on the same pair of socks.
I joined a knitting group last summer and many of us like to listen to audio books while we knit, so now we’re also a book club! Our first book is Julie Clark’s The Last Flight. And my knit right now is a pair of socks.
I remember this being big on Booktok last summer and how many men did not like it and and that just made it more interesting to me. After starting this, I feel like this is also up Kate’s alley too.
Truth be told I’m actually almost finish with this one. I’ve just been bad at posting.
My friend Maureen sent me a tiktok from the author and I knew immediately that I wanted to check these out!
I started this last night and I already know I’m going to love it.
I bought this book on a whim and so far it has been very good. Brutal but good.
I may have started this before? I don’t remember. But definitely finishing it this time. It is so good!
Set on the very edge of Patagonia, there is a girl school where there had previously been a tragedy. A mysterious illness once overtook the school. It is now reopening and in 1970s Argentina with a looming military dictatorship, Mavi can’t say no to a job that’ll take her out of Buenos Aires. I’m looking forward to this!
I’m really digging the creepy vibes of the cover.
